PORT LOUIS, Mauritius – June 5, 2026 – On the sidelines of the Africa Aquatics and Zone 4 Open Water Swimming Championships (June 6–7), Africa Aquatics held a high-level meeting with the Mauritius Ministry of Youth and Sport and the President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC). PORT LOUIS, Mauritius – June 5, 2026 – The Indian Ocean island nation of Mauritius is hosting the Africa Aquatics and Zone 4 Open Water Swimming Championships from June 6–7, 2026, welcoming more than 100 of the continent’s top open water swimmers. A total of 14 countries are represented at the championships, with 102 swimmers (44 women and 58 men) competing across individual and relay events.
